Parada Plaza de Godoy Cruz

Enoteca - Wine Museum stop

A unique architectural testimony of the Argentinian National Wine School, a fundamental milestone regarding oenological studies in the country. It is located in one of the most significant urban spaces of the city, the Civic Center. The Enoteca recovered its original meaning, and is projected as a Wine Thematic Center.

Caballitos de Marly stop

They ornament the entrance of the famous San Martin Park. It is a reproduction of the French artist Berthier, commissioned by the government of Mendoza in the year 1911, to the French firm "Sahores and Ojeda". It is formed by two sculptural groups, integrated by a wild horse and tamer located one to each side of the roundabout.

Fuente de los Continentes stop

Fuente de Los Continentes (Fountain of the Continents): The work was fulfilled in the French foundry "Val d'Osne". It depicts the continents: America, Asia, Europe and Africa. The source has motifs characteristic of European ornamental fountains of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Cornelio Moyano Museum stop

It is the Museum of Natural and Anthropological Sciences "Juan Cornelio Moyano" is one of the oldest in the whole country. Founded in 1911, it has more than 150,000 pieces of historical, patrimonial and scientific value. The recently remodeled Serranas Beaches of the Lake of the General San Martin Park can be already visited.

Zoological Garden stop

Designed by Carlos Thays, it was inaugurated in 1903. Due to space constraints, it would be transferred to the Eastern slope of the Cerro de la Gloria. The architect Daniel Ramos Correa would make the new project and would inaugurate it in 1941, with 48 forested hectares and almost 6 km of route. It has about 1300 specimens.

Cerro de la Gloria stop

Located within the San Martín Park, is the monument to pay homage to the General San Martín and the Army of the Andes, is the work of the Uruguayan sculptor Juan Manuel Ferrari. The base of the monument is made of stone brought from the Cordillera de Los Andes.

Malvinas Argentinas Stadium stop

It was built for the FIFA Football World Cup, which was played in the country in 1978. The stadium was recently remodeled and has also hosted the Copa América and AFA Summer tournaments. The Provincial Field Hockey Stadium is also included in its premises and is considered the most important covered stadium in Mendoza.

South Gates stop

Acquired in Scotland for the founding of "Walter Macfarlaine & Co" by the Government of Mendoza, to be placed in the access to the General San Martin Park. Records indicate that by November of 1908 the gates were already in the place they occupy nowadays.

Independencia Square stop

It is the largest and most important square in the city of Mendoza. It stands out not only for its surface, but also for the variety of spaces that make it such as: the Municipal Museum of Modern Art (MMAMM) and the Quintanilla Theater. The square is strategically located in the center of the city.

Las Heras and Chile stop

Parque Central - Central Park stop

Located in the former grounds of the charging station of the General San Martin Railway, this magnificent park has 14 hectares of extension and 1200 trees. Since the year 2010, the Multidisciplinary Cultural Center called "Nave Cultural" was created within it.

Paseo Alameda stop

Along seven blocks shaded by hundreds of trees, visitors can enjoy this historic walk designed by the General San Martin himself, which offers multiple proposals. Among them is the San Martín General Public Library, one of the most important at the province level.

Foundational Area stop

It is located in the heart of the historical center of the Old Town, in it, we find the Archaeological Museum "of site and interpretation", unique in its class in the city. Municipal Aquarium stop

It was inaugurated on May 25, 1945. It contains local and exotic freshwater and saltwater species. Among them are species from the famous Paraná River, and a huge sea turtle (called Jorge) of approximately 90 years, which has been in captivity for 15 years.
